“Someone was basically definitely messing with me because another fake account messaged me and literally said to me, ‘You actually thought that was him? That was me.’

The influencer then explained the misunderstanding and how she was tricked into believing that she had met Tommy on an evening out together.

“And of course people are going to say, ‘But you said you saw him?’ But like I said, I was already really confused,” she continued.

“And it was also really weird because I was in Manchester and we had gone to a private event and there was a group of guys and one of the guys could have passed as him.”

She continued: “Like I said, I don’t even know what he really looks like.

“I know he has brown hair and is really muscular.

Earlier this week, Kay posted a video saying Tommy had been messaging her on social media.

She told her fans: “I’ve been thinking about whether or not to do this video, but I’m going to do it.

“So, my friends and I were out and about in Manchester and we actually met him (Tommy) one night.

“Basically, we were out with a group of guys that night and I didn’t really know who he was.

“One of the guys asked for my Instagram and I gave it to him.

“We were all together, but it wasn’t until I looked at my phone and his name popped up that I realized who he was.

“When I saw his name pop up, of course I thought, ‘What the hell?’

“Then of course I realized who he was, but I literally have direct messages and I don’t know whether to send them out or not.”

In a second video, Kay added: “So this is part two of the Tommy situation. My girlfriend was there, so she’ll explain what happened too.”

Her friend then said: “I’m not from the UK so I didn’t recognise him until we looked at the DM and were obviously on his side.”

A fire emoji appears on the screen under Tommy’s Instagram name and Kay replied: “??”

A second message read: “Are you in Manchester?”, along with a wide-eyed emoji.

Some details were deleted from the screenshot, including the date and time of the alleged messages.

Molly-Mae left Tommy after his holiday in North Macedonia earlier this month – a year after their engagement.

Sources told The Sun that Molly-Mae had been “preparing” for more women to speak out.

They said: “Molly-Mae is now aware that Tommy has been unfaithful to her. She believes it happened several times.

“It seems like he would play away if he knew people wouldn’t recognize him.”
