As a parent, you don’t want your child to be excluded and feel left out by others. That’s why it’s so important to teach inclusion and understand others’ differences.

But what if you have legitimate concerns about another child’s health and don’t want your child to take any risks?

A woman is currently in a similar difficult situation. She has an 8-year-old son and recently took him to the park to meet one of his school friends.

For context: His girlfriend is an 8-year-old girl and both her son and the little girl suffer from autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

According to her, the little girl is also always alone in the park.

“She says her mother gives her food and then tells her to leave,” she revealed.

Anyway, that day in the park, she was just pushing the little girl on the swing when she looked at the girl’s hair and couldn’t believe her eyes – because the poor girl had a terrible infestation of lice.

“I had only seen lice like that on YouTube videos. I was horrified. I feel so sorry for her,” she explained.

She also mentioned the lice and learned that the little girl had had her hair cut short because of it.
