Episode 5 of Road to UFC 3 was released on Friday and continues the path to the big show for the ten featured fighters.

For three seasons now, the Road to UFC tournament has sought to produce some top talent for the promotion, with a focus on up-and-coming Asian talent. Essentially, the series serves as Asia’s answer to Dana White’s Contender SeriesAnd The ultimate fightera kind of hybrid of both. Tournament format like TUF, but focused on fighting without being locked in the TUF house.

The fifth episode of “Road to UFC” on Friday night featured the semifinals of the flyweight and bantamweight divisions, as well as a fight that pitted former Invicta FC champion Danni McCormack against Yan Qihui as she tries to fight her way into the UFC.
