After more than a decade on the air, the final episode of the first part of the final season of “Blue Bloods” will air on Friday.

Season 14 is the final season of the long-running CBS police drama series starring Tom Selleck as New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan. The final season will air in two parts: the first began in February and the second in September 2024.

Part one of season 14 consisted of 10 episodes, part two will have eight episodes.

Blue Bloods, which began airing in 2010, follows Reagan’s multi-generational New York City police family and has consistently been CBS’ most popular Friday night series.

The final episode of the first part of the 14th season of “Blue Bloods” will air on Friday, May 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The final episode of the first part is titled “The Heart of a Saturday Night.”

According to the episode description on Rotten Tomatoes, “Danny and Gormley go in search of Gus Vanderlip, a dedicated detective with a dangerous determination to find out how a rapist he arrested got back on the loose. On the eve of their anniversary, Jamie and Eddie are sent on an undercover mission.”
