Sean Evans welcomes Disney’s Donald Duck to Hot Ones for a special episode celebrating the animation icon’s 90th birthday.

My favorite classic Disney character, Donald Duck, celebrates his 90th birthday by joining Sean Evans in a special episode of First We Feast’s Hot Ones, the online interview show with hot questions and even hotter wings. If you’re worried about cannibalism, fear not! Sean and the good folks at First We Feast serve up cauliflower wings instead of boiled chicken for this one-of-a-kind interview, featuring a fully animated Donald Duck taking on the Wings of Death!

To make the interview even more special, Sean serves Donald’s wings with Disney-style sauces, including spicy flavors inspired by Alice in Wonderland‘s Queen of Hearts, Sleeping Beauty‘s Maleficent, Hades from Herculesand Powerline from Goofy – The Movie. Donald confirms that his longtime partner in cartoon crime, Daisy Duck, inspired him to take on the challenge. As Donald’s Odd Couple friend Mickey Mouse watches from the sidelines, a proud Donald, cocky as ever, begins to flap his wings with ease.

In the video, Donald talks about his leading role in his first project, “The Wise Little Hen,” which I remember vividly from my childhood and now have flashbacks to. “My first job was The clever little chicken but they noticed how good I was, so I got bigger roles. I was even more popular than certain so-called celebrities who shall remain unnamed here,” Donald said before the camera pans to Mickey standing nearby.

Donald then explains to Sean that his talent is too great to be put into short films, so Disney needs to promote him to lead roles. After receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (which Donald paid for), Donald devours a wing with copious amounts of gravy that makes his feathers stand on end. Then comes Maleficent’s Fury, this episode’s equivalent of the deadly (and often devastating) gravy Da Bomb Beyond Insanity that has brought down so many celebrities of Hot Ones past.

Donald Duck’s Hot Ones interview is one of many ways Disney is planning to celebrate the classic character’s 90th birthday. If you visit any of the Disney parks worldwide, you’ll find unique anniversary apparel available. Retailers that carry Disney products may also have some of this limited-time merchandise on offer, but you’ll have to be quick.
