“Love After Lockup” is set to be a spin-off of WE TV’s “Love During Lockup,” which follows couples navigating their love lives in prison. The show features inmates trying to maintain their love through video dates, letters and phone calls. But no one knows who will be able to handle the cell wall that separates the couples and who won’t.

In the new season, “seven couples, including two fan favorites from ‘Love During Lockup,’ discover more love, new doubts and encounter unforeseen obstacles as they share their emotional journeys and continue to search for true love beyond prison walls,” a description from WE TV reads.
