Dance group shocked after men came ‘dangerously close’ to each other in the middle of a street dance

A dance group has spoken out after their street performance was interrupted by an uninvited visitor.

Even though it is 2024, many women still feel unsafe because of the behavior and reactions of certain men towards them, even in public.

Last year, a delivery driver told UNILAD how she disguised herself as a man for self-protection, while another woman recounted how she reacted to lewd comments from a construction worker.

And now a K-pop dance cover group has shared footage on social media of a man coming “dangerously close” to them as they attempted to perform a number on the street.

Bubble Tea Pandas are a K-pop dance cover group from Munich, Germany.

A member of the group named Mai Linhii shared a video of her dance cover of “Touch” by LA girl group KATSEYE in a public square in Germany on her TikTok page earlier this week.

The caption reads: “Public dancing is always fun until a couple of guys got dangerously close to us.”

In fact, the video shows the moment when a spectator runs in from the side, stands close behind one of the women in the dance group, holds up his hand and appears to be trying to imitate her movements.

Almost immediately, the dance group’s camerawoman pounces on the post, and Mai remarks that she “ultimately protected us.” And it wasn’t long before people flocked to the post to voice their opinions.

One TikTok user said: “I love the lady who pushed it away.”

“It made me smile,” added another, while a third commented: “Men have been a plague since birth.”

“This was the face of ‘If you touch someone I will make sure it’s the last thing you ever touch’ and I love it,” wrote a fourth.

A fifth said: “Her aura points are 10,000x, she didn’t look scared at all.”

And as a sixth resolution about the camerawoman: “I want to be like her when I grow up.”

Mai later added that the person “fortunately left” after the camerawoman intervened.

However, she added: “Honestly, I was scared because they were really drunk.”

She also responded to a user who asked if the person was “trying to dance with y’all,” saying, “Sadly, they were just making fun of us and mocking us. They were already making fun of us before we even started dancing.”
