Andrew’s discovery about Bonnie’s identity and crime explained

Bonnie’s real name is Plover Chase

Vince Vaughn as Andrew Yancy making a phone call in Bad Monkey

Towards the end Evil Monkey In episode 2, Andrew meets an investigator from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigators who tells him she is looking for Bonnie, played by Michelle Monaghan. To Andrew’s surprise, he learns that Bonnie Witt is not who she says she is and has actually been evading the law for nearly a decade. Bonnie’s real name is Plover Chase. She is wanted for sexual relations with one of her underage students in exchange for good grades. Bonnie, or Plover, obviously never explained any of this to Andrew and has been living a lie ever since.

This is especially interesting for Andrew, considering that Bonnie, now married in Florida, has already had an affair with him. This shows that Bonnie/Plover was already involved in scandalous sexual arrangements before she met Andrew, and this may change Andrew’s feelings for her, even though he himself seems to be quite lenient and not entirely ethical. It is unclear whether Bonnie’s husband, whom Andrew drove off a pier into the ocean with his car in revenge for his assault on Bonnie, ever knew the truth about Bonnie/Plover. The investigator was able to track down Bonnie because the incident went viral on the Internet.

What Andrew and Rosa find in Christopher and Eve’s house and what it means

The bone fragments in the shower drain strongly indicate the guilt of Christopher and Eve

Christopher and Eve next to a car in Bad Monkey

Another shocking element in Evil Monkey In episode 2, Andrew and Rosa, a medical examiner who Andrew took the severed arm to after finding it, find bone fragments in the shower drain of Christopher and Eve’s house in the Keys. In one of the most bizarre moments of the series so far, Andrew licks the bone fragment while trying to figure out what it is, which Rosa finds ridiculous and disgusting. The fact that there are bone fragments that are near Christopher and Eve’s house in the Keys is one of the most bizarre scenes of the series. Bone fragments in Eve and Christopher’s shower drain strongly suggest that they belong to NickEvers’ husband, from whom she demanded a life insurance payout of $5 million after his mysterious death.

In the first two episodes of Evil MonkeyChristopher seems to be one of the most suspicious characters and the most likely perpetrator of Nick’s murder. He has a vested interest in taking Eve away from him, which he eventually succeeds in doing, and has proven to be self-centered, arrogant, vain and potentially dangerous. Neville saw him pass by his beach hut before it was demolished by their henchman “Egg” at Christopher and Eve’s demands. Now that Rosa and Andrew know that there are bone fragments in their house, You must find a legal way to obtain a search warrant to collect the evidence.

The bone fragments and the insurance money all seem to point to Christopher and Eve either killing Nick or having him killed, which is exactly what Nick’s daughter Caitlin suspects. Caitlin asks Andrew to investigate, and Andrew reluctantly agrees. It turns out that the discovery of the bone fragments may be the only evidence needed to get Eve and Christopher arrested and Andrew back as a detective. Eve and Christopher are still waiting for the $5 million life insurance to be paid off, but they clearly have enough money and power to pay others to bend to their will.

Who was the driver of the Yukon that tried to run over Andrew?

Christopher and Eve could have had “Egg” do it

Jodie Turner-Smith as the Dragon Queen looking straight ahead in “Bad Monkey”

The most obvious person who tried to run over Andrew in the black Yukon was “Egg”, Christopher and Eve’s paid henchman. “Egg” was also the person who had Neville’s house demolished just hours after Christopher and Eve asked him to, so it makes the most sense that he would also the person who tried to take out Andrew after asking Eve a series of questions when she met with her to exchange her husband’s severed arm. It’s entirely possible that there are other factors at play here and that the bone fragments could have ended up in the shower drain after Eve received the arm, but then the question becomes, why did she put it in the shower?

How Andrew and Neville’s stories connect at the end of episode 2 of “Bad Monkey”

Andrew and Neville are brought together by fate

Monkey looking up in Bad Monkey

Neville went to the Dragon Queen, a powerful mystic, to curse Christopher. So his life becomes intertwined with that of Eve, Andrew, and even Rosa and Caitlin. Neville has had his home taken away from him and he seems to have no other choice, but he still has the willpower to fight back, despite being afraid of the Dragon Queen’s power. There is a kind of spiritual power that arises when Neville, Rosa and Andrew are all together in the same cafe at the end Evil Monkey Episode 2, although Neville and Andrew don’t know each other yet.

The Dragon Queen prophesies in a voiceover at the end of Evil Monkey Episode 2 that a great storm is coming that will engulf them all, making it seem as though, although Neville is in the right and Christopher and Eve are probably in the wrong, The curse will have consequences everywhere. Neville could find himself in a “Monkey’s Paw” situation where he makes a wish but ends up playing too hard with fate. Whatever the case, Evil Monkey Episode 2 likely brought Andrew and Neville together and made them realize that they have common motivations and enemies.
