2025 Zeekr 007 features new 5.5C EV batteries that can be charged to 80% in just 10.5 minutes
The problem with most electric vehicles is that they take at least 20 minutes to charge to 80% using a 250kW Level 3 charger. However, the 2025 Zeekr 007 is set to change that. This new model features improved lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries that support ultra-fast 5.5C charging, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes.

When these LFP batteries are combined with the Zeekr V3’s ultra-fast charging stations, the charging speed exceeds that of existing nickel-cobalt-manganese batteries. But that’s not all: the improved battery management system (BMS) ensures that the vehicle’s charging remains stable and fast even in harsh environmental conditions (down to -10 °C).

Zeekr has opened over 500 ultra-fast charging stations in China with over 2,700 charging piles, all supporting 800V charging. “Zeekr plans to expand the network to 1,000 ultra-fast charging stations in 2024 and will operate over 10,000 ultra-fast charging piles in 2026,” the company said.
