“In The Black Network”: Your central streaming platform for black culture announces new fast channels

In The Black Network (ITBN), a premium free streaming service that highlights Black voices and original stories that are culturally significant and relatable to all audiences, announces new partnerships with Black Enterprise, African Diaspora Network TV, Revolt Mixtape, HomesteadPlus, Shades of Black, World One TV, One Culture, and the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) and BlackPressUSA News Service; adding new Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channels to the growing library of Black-created content. The new partnerships add a diverse offering of cross-genre programming from Black creators to the ITBN platform. Viewers can look forward to an expanded selection of titles, from action-packed adventures and hilarious comedies to culturally significant content such as faith-based stories and compelling documentaries.

ITBN is also expanding its global offering to include a selection of Nollywood and other independent black films from Africa, further connecting an already established global audience of over 25 countries. This vibrant mix not only makes the platform more attractive, but also reinforces ITBN’s mission to celebrate and amplify black voices and bring together the best of black culture in one central, subscription-free location.

“ITBN’s mission has always been to bring quality Black content under one roof,” said James DuBose, CEO/Founder. “With these FAST channels and our platform, we aim to provide the best of Black culture in one central, subscription-free home. In addition to these exciting offerings, ITBN will be announcing several major original productions in the coming months.”

ITBN continues to attract the attention of well-known stars of black celebrity culture and recently added an exciting new reality dating series, “Finding My Romeo,” following the growing trend among streaming platforms. The show is hosted by Romeo Miller, a charismatic hip-hop star, and is about a bachelor looking for true love among a group of happy singles. Dr. Holly Carter’s brainchild comes to ITBN via MergeTV, her family, faith and lifestyle network.

“Finding My Romeo” joins a lineup of compelling celebrity-fronted original programs, including “Food for Thought” with the inspirational DeVon Franklin, and showcases the exceptional talent and compelling content ITBN offers. The launch of new FAST channels on ITBN coincides with National Black Business Month in August, a time to celebrate Black businesses and their important contributions. Building on the launch of FAST channels earlier this year, these new partnerships bring the total number of ITBN FAST channels to 93, covering a wide range of topics including music, sports, mental health, wellness, food and interior design. “In The Black Network” is available for download on iOS and Android devices, Apple TV, YouTube, Roku, LG and Samsung media players.
