Coach Yilmaz brings in Kaitlyn Scroggins as assistant coach

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M volleyball team adds Kaitlyn Scroggins as assistant coach of the coaching staff.

“I am excited to have Kaitlyn join the team as she is competent and hardworking,” said head coach Gökhan Yilmaz. “Kailtyn has worked at some of my camps, helped out with a club volleyball team, and has done a great job.”

“I’m excited to join Coach Gokhan’s team after playing for him last year,” Scroggins said. “I came to FAMU to contribute to a championship team and since that didn’t work out as a player, I wanted to contribute my knowledge of the game by My Passion for coaching at the college level to try to win one as a coach.”

Scroggins remains in Tallahassee after joining the team as a 2023 graduate transfer. Scroggins appeared in 31 games and was fifth on the team with 127 digs. Scroggins was also one of the best servers, finishing second with 26 service aces.
