Channing Tatum reveals it will be “horrifying” if his 11-year-old daughter Everly sees his Magic Mike dance moves in the future
Channing Tatum is not ready for his daughter Everly to see his Magic Mike dance moves in the future.
The 44-year-old Hollywood actor, who recently called his fiancée Zoe Kravitz a “movie nerd,” discussed the topic during an appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” on Wednesday while promoting his latest film, “Blink Twice.”
He once considered taking the 11-year-old — whom he has with ex Jenna Dewan — to see Taylor Swift during her Eras tour stop in Los Angeles.
Tatum also saw the Grammy winner live in concert with Kravitz at Wembley Stadium earlier this month.
However, Channing explained to Meyers: “Watching it with your daughter is a completely different experience because you have to be there yourself. I danced like I’ve never danced before.”

“That’s a lot coming from you,” joked Seth, referring to the actor who stars in the “Magic Mike” series.
Channing responded that he didn’t dance like he usually does and avoided any body rolls while grooving to Swift’s hits with his daughter. “There was none of that at all.”
He then added, “I’m so grateful she doesn’t know how I dance,” which prompted the host to ask when Everly would see the films.
In the films, Tatum plays the role of a male stripper in particular – and is loosely based on the life of the actor himself.
“It’s going to happen, but it’s not going to happen because you show it,” Meyers told the Star.
“It’s going to be horrifying when it happens,” Channing admitted, but said of the dance moves he performs in front of his daughter: “It’s a lot of that stuff and I’m just going to keep it in that area.”
Then he innocently threw his arms from side to side to give an example of his relaxed movements.
“It will be the opposite of if she were a mother the first time she saw Magic Mike,” Seth predicted humorously.
He then added, “I’m so thankful she doesn’t know how I dance,” which prompted the host to ask when Everly will see the films; to be seen in NYC in February

Earlier this month, Channing attended his second Taylor Swift concert as part of her Eras Tour in London and was given guitar picks by the singer’s father, Scott.
The actor shared a selfie he took with Scott on Instagram and revealed that he plans to sell the photos “for charity.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Tatum also recalled a recent trip to Salem, Massachusetts, with his daughter – who is interested in witches and the paranormal.
“She’s been wanting to go to Salem for maybe seven years. And when we got there, I thought, ‘Maybe this is one of those moments where she thinks, ‘Oh, it’s not what I thought.’ You know?’
“It’s like the idea of going to Egypt and thinking that there are only mummies walking around all the time. And I thought to myself, ‘Maybe she’ll just be less fascinated then.'”
However, the star explained that Everly “leaned into it so much.”
The father-daughter duo decided to stay at a haunted hotel in Salem called the Hawthorne Hotel. “They said, ‘Don’t go to the third or sixth floor.’ I said, ‘There’s no way I’m doing that.'”

Although the two have different views on the paranormal, the actor said, “She loved it so much. The whole town is really into the story (the Salem witch trials).”
Tatum was busy promoting his upcoming film “Blink Twice,” which was directed by his fiancée Zoe Kravitz.
The premise is: “When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island.”
“When strange things start happening, Frida (Naomi Ackie) questions her reality,” says IMDB.
Tatum has been busy promoting his upcoming film Blink Twice, which is directed by his fiancée Zoe Kravitz. The couple were photographed in London earlier this month.
On Wednesday, he and Kravitz attended the thriller’s screening in New York City. Other celebrities in attendance included Austin Butler, Emily Ratajkowski, Questlove and Shaboozey.
And just days earlier, the couple also made a glamorous appearance at the London premiere of the film, which is set to hit theaters on Friday, August 23.
Channing looked elegant in a classic black suit paired with a white shirt and black tie.
Zoe beamed in a sleeveless red dress that hugged her figure and featured a thin belt that accentuated her waist.
