For the second year in a row, the 2024 Leagues Cup will be a pure MLS final.

After Inter Miami beat Nashville in the inaugural edition of last season’s tournament, two new teams will now face off for a chance at their first Leagues Cup triumph.

LAFC and reigning MLS champions Columbus Crew are the two franchises in the final, making it a rematch of the 2023 MLS Cup final, where the latter emerged with a 2-1 victory.

While Columbus – led by Cucho Hernandez, Diego Rossi and Co. – has remained a strong team in the MLS, LAFC has since strengthened, with experienced Europeans Hugo Lloris and Olivier Giroud supporting the strength of Denis Bouanga.
