NASCAR qualifying order for the Cup Series at Daytona in August 2024

NASCAR qualifying order for the Cup Series at Daytona in August 2024

NASCAR will arrive at Daytona International Speedway for the 25th weekend of the 2024 Cup Series season. It will be the second time at this venue, as NASCAR went to Daytona in late February and William Byron won. This will be a crucial event, as there are only two races left in the 2024 NASCAR regular season.

First, the Cup Series must qualify for the Daytona event. The qualifying format is simple. Each driver completes one lap in the first round, which determines the 10 drivers who advance to the final round. Then, those drivers compete for the top 10 grid spot. The metric system determines the qualifying order.
