High school principal suspended after ‘weird’ lap dance with school mascot at pep rally!

A high school principal has come under criticism after showing off his “weird” dance moves at a pep rally.

It’s that time of year again when the kids go back to school to learn and fill their young minds… Sometimes, unfortunately, with something they can’t forget! Like a middle-aged man giving a school mascot a lap dance!

A father from Atwater, California, is as confused as you are after seeing footage of his 14-year-old son from a pep rally at Buhach Colony High School. There is no other way to say it – the principal performed an inappropriate dance on the mascot! In the video, which Father Ryan Attebery shared with on facebook. over the weekend, Rector Robert Nunes He is seen sitting on a chair while Thor, the school’s mascot, dances around him. Robert then switches positions with the mascot and briefly performs what looks like a lewd dance. He then screams into the microphone:

“What happens in Buhach stays in Buhach!”

Oh… Oh no…

Ryan, visibly unsettled by the footage, asked: “Am I a square or was that pretty damn weird for a school principal?”

The video quickly spread online and many pointed out that a student who would do something like that would likely be expelled from class. And that’s exactly what happened to the school’s principal!

The Merced Union High School District confirmed to People on Wednesday that Nunes has since been placed on leave. Spokesman Viviana Fuentes said in a statement:

“This decision is part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment. The district is conducting a comprehensive review of the situation. While the investigation is ongoing, Mr. Nunes will not participate in any school-related duties or activities.”

Oops! And apparently this was the guy’s FIRST year as principal! Not a good start…

When speaking with PeopleRyan explained why he shared the video on Facebook:

“Hey man, this is what your kids are seeing. You have the right to see it. That was everything to me.”

However, he also said he was “shocked” to learn of the action against the headteacher, as many students had “stood up for him”. Ryan added:

“From what I understand, he’s a great guy, but that doesn’t make it any less weird.”

The students have since confirmed on social media that the pep rally was Las Vegas-themed. Ryan left out:

“Everyone says he’s (a good guy). He probably is, and it’s probably just a bad joke. They say, ‘Oh, the students, it was the students’ idea.’ And I say, ‘I know, but the fact that there was no warning flag is a warning flag in itself.’ I’d rather make sure those kids were cool. Still, it was all weird.”

What do you think, dear readers of Perezcious? How bad was that? Just too caught up in the whole kid thing? Or worse?? Write your opinion in the comments below!
