The Eagles have a full roster, and although they are potential favorites for the Super Bowl, this team couldwith 12 stars earning $10+ million or more per season collapses worse than what we experienced in 2024?

ESPN looked at the highs and lows of all 32 NFL teams. While Tim McManus believes the club could win 13 games, like in 2022, McManus wouldn’t be surprised if the Birds went 8-9 and still stumbled.

Ceiling: 13-4

Biggest X-factor: Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore

Floor: 8-9

The Eagles’ high-powered offense fell into a slump late last season, contributing to the team’s 1-6 collapse and early playoff exit. Offensive coordinator Brian Johnson was fired and head coach Nick Sirianni handed much of the creative control to Johnson’s successor, Moore. The former OC of the Cowboys and Chargers has worked hard to fix problem areas from last season, including a lack of movement before the snap (the Eagles were last in that category in 2023) and effectiveness against the blitz (Jalen Hurts threw a league-wide eight interceptions under that pressure). A discrepancy in vision between Hurts and Sirianni contributed to the downturn. It’s imperative that Moore and Hurts work in sync. – Tim McManus

The offense is well-positioned and as long as Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and Lane Johnson can avoid injuries, everything will be fine. On defense, Vic Fangio’s presence alone should provide two wins and improved play at linebacker could put this unit in the top ten.
