The Eternal Die revealed for Switch

Lost in Random The Eternal Cube

Thunderful today unveiled Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, a sequel to the 2021 game. Switch will get it sometime in 2025.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die takes the series in a different direction. While the first game was an action-adventure experience, this time Thunderful makes a rogue-lite action title with isometric combat.

In the following overview we have summarized a lot of information for you:

In Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, Aleksandra, formerly known as the Queen, and her companion Fortune are trapped in the Eternal Die, where an evil storyteller is plotting their final chapter. Players battle their way through a randomly generated gauntlet of taking on monstrous pawns and giant board games to loot treasures that will improve their odds. They must use their wits and their trusty dice companion to escape this living labyrinth where evil reigns and chance rules.

Main features

  • Randomized Runs: Each run is a unique blend of chance, offering unexpected twists, challenges, and rewards. Adapt, strategize, and embrace chaos as you navigate ever-changing landscapes.
  • Mastering the Game of Chance: Hone your skills in a mysterious prison where luck and probability rule, and battle your enemies with dice rolls, split-second decisions, and sometimes a little luck. Whether you roll the dice, avoid danger, or face it head-on, your mastery of chance will determine your fate.
  • Board Game Inspired Dungeons: Explore treacherous dungeons designed by the Mare the Knight and discover themed rooms based on classic board games, tackling challenging rooms and uncovering secrets along the way as you explore the Eternal Cube.

Director Martin Storm said today: “Over the years, we’ve seen Lost in Random resonate with players around the world, from its compelling story to its creative combat in a world of wonder and excitement. We’ve been thinking about how we can expand on that world further and we’ve decided to create an action-packed, random-infused rogue-lite, raising the stakes and speed to create an entirely new gameplay experience. We can’t wait for players to see what we have in store in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die and try their luck again.”

Below we have the first trailer for the game.
