Thunderful Games has announced Lost in Random: The Eternal Cubea sequel to the roguelite action-adventure game Lost in chance. It will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam. It will also be available through Xbox Game Pass.

“Over the years we have seen how Lost in chance has resonated with players worldwide, from its compelling story to its creative combat in a world of wonder and excitement,” said game director Martin Storm in a press release. “We thought about how we could continue to expand on that world, and we decided to create an action-packed, random-enhanced rogue-lite that raises the stakes and speed to create an entirely new gaming experience. We can’t wait for players to see what we have in store in 2019. Lost in Random: The Eternal Cubeand to take advantage of their opportunities once again.”

In Lost in Random: The Eternal CubeAleksandra, formerly known as the Queen, and her companion Fortune have been captured in the Eternal Cube, where an evil storyteller is plotting their final chapter. Players battle their way through a randomly generated gauntlet of taking on monstrous pawns and giant board games to loot treasures that will improve their odds. They must use their wits and their trusty dice companion to escape this living labyrinth where evil reigns and chance rules.
