John Cena talks about a possible return to the “Fast & Furious” franchise

John Cena was the face of WWE from 2006 to 2016 and thrilled audiences with his charisma and ability in the ring. He is now a real star in Hollywood and other media, which is why he is now addressing his future in the “Fast & Furious” series.

John Cena made his debut in the Fast & Furious franchise as Jacob Toretto, the long-lost brother of Dominic Toretto, in the ninth installment, “F9”. Jacob was initially introduced as a villain and was estranged from the family due to a perceived betrayal.

However, in Fast X, his role was expanded as Jacob became an important member of the Toretto family. Ultimately, Jacob sacrificed his life to protect his family, cementing his place in the saga.

Speaking to Club Shay Shay, John Cena was asked if he would be interested in being part of the 11th installment in the Fast & Furious franchise. The Doctor of Thuganomics was excited about the idea, mentioning his passion for cars and his desire to be part of the franchise. He also mentioned that he was hopeful of being part of the next installment, given the filmmakers’ reputation for reviving characters.

“I would do Fast & Furious as long as they want me because it’s an action movie about cars. I’m a fan of that franchise and it’s great to be invited. But in the last one I had a pretty big, fiery accident. I know they’re known for resurrecting characters. I hope I made it. They didn’t hold a funeral for me so it’s OK, but I hope I made it. I hope I can do the next one.”

We will have to wait and see if the leader of Cenation returns to the franchise, as fans would love to see him back in some capacity.
