Costco’s unsuitable penis-shaped mug is garnering attention online and sparking some hilarious reactions.

Occasionally, completely harmless objects can be confused with something much grosser, such as Dune Part 2 Popcorn Bucket who people thought looked like a sex toy, or the craftsman who thought the Facial toner was a vibrator.

The latest item to make waves are the drinking cups at wholesaler Costco. One person took to Reddit to see if anyone else had seen them.

The Reddit user posted a picture of the cup lid with the plastic tab that exposed the plastic part pulled back to reveal the drinking area, creating the shape of a penis and testicles.

They jokingly wrote: “Costco just expects me to drink from the balls on my lid?”

It didn’t take long for the comments section to fill up with jokes and sayings about the hilarious, accidental NSFW mug.

One person wrote: “I usually push it inward and against itself. But if you prefer balls, that’s totally up to you.”

“I hate to say it… but it looks like you got ripped off,” joked one user.

Another joked: “Remember to enclose the floor too.”

“Peepsi,” someone else joked.

Others pointed out that the Reddit user was using the lid incorrectly, revealing that the tab is designed to be pushed into the cup rather than pulled up.

One person explained: “The instructions say to push it in…not pull it out. Hehe. This also avoids ice getting in the way when you drink.”
