ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council wants to focus on mental health and has launched Operation HER: Strong Minds, Strong Girls Mental Health Summit 2024.

Presented by LewisGale Regional Health System HCA Virginia, the event offers girls and adults the opportunity to come together in a fun, supportive and uplifting environment and learn more about mental health from experts in the field.

Here @ Home welcomed Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline CEO Nikki Williams along with Leigh Gathings, Vice President of Mental Health and Wellness at LewisGale Medical Center, to discuss this opportunity for participants to share their experiences, learn coping skills, and build resilience.
