Jenna Ortega was asked if she will have another viral dance in Season 2 of “Wednesday,” and her funny answer gives me hope
There is no doubt in my mind that Jenna Ortega’s super viral Wednesday dance was not only one of the great TV music moments of 2022but one of the best viral moments of recent times. Now the actress is in the middle of filming Wednesday Season 2and many are wondering if there will be another big dance. Well, she recently answered that question in a funny way and that gives me a lot of hope.
Ortega is currently promoting her film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice before its premiere at the Cinema program 2024and since it is her second collaboration with Tim Burton, she is asked about Wednesday. They are currently in the middle of filming the second season of the Addams Family spinoff, and when asked by Extra if there will be another viral dance, the actress said:
Oh my God. Well, not that I know of… I don’t look at the schedule in advance, but I’m afraid I might see something.
Well, at first glance, this may not seem like much, but it’s all in Ortega’s reaction, which you can see in the TikTok below:

First of all, her deadpan “Oh my God” is hilarious and so Wednesday. And then the fact that she didn’t actually say no makes me fully believe that something is about to happen.
In addition, Winona Ryder joked in the middle that her Beetlejuice Beetlejuice his co-star’s “famous last words.” So I suspect we’re in for something very funny in Season 2.
It should be noted, however, that it is difficult to predict what will go viral. Scream As the actress mentioned, she isn’t aware of any intentionally viral dances or moments in Season 2. While they may have had an inkling that the “Goo Goo Muck” dance, which she choreographed herself, would be popular, I highly doubt they expected it to go so viral… I mean, even Lady Gaga copied Wednesday’s moves.

Whether or not she knows there’s a funny moment coming, it’s also important to recognize that it’s hard to predict what might hit home. Maybe they intentionally put in a TikTok moment, and it’s possible that it could go viral or flop. Or they have scenes that they don’t think twice about that start a frenzy online, like that dance last season. Either way, we won’t really know (and neither will Orgeta) until Season 2 comes out.

However, I have to admit that her response gives me hope that Season 2 will have some funny moments worthy of TikTok virality, like the “Goo Goo Muck” dance was.
While she didn’t give away any details, the last part of her answer, where she said, “I’m afraid I might see something,” tells me we could see a new dance or viral moment. I know I’ll be on the lookout for it, and as the Wednesday cast continues to film Season 2, it sounds like Jenna Ortega will, too.
