Columbus Crew vs Philadelphia: Leagues Cup live updates, results, TV, who will reach the final?

Only four teams remain in the 2024 Leagues Cup tournament and the final participants will be announced tonight.

Columbus Crew hosts an up-and-coming Philadelphia Union in the first of two semifinals on Wednesday, while LAFC hosts the Colorado Rapids in the other semifinal.

The winners of both matches will meet in the League Cup final, while the losers will play in a third-place match (both on Sunday).

There is a lot at stake for the last four of the Leagues Cup: the finalists and the third-placed team will qualify for the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup tournament.

The Crew are the reigning MLS champions and are still hoping to win their second trophy of the calendar year after losing to LIGA MX side Pachuca in the Champions Cup earlier this year.

The Union could finish in 10th placeth in the MLS Eastern Conference, but have reached the semifinals of the Leagues Cup for the second year in a row, winning the third-place match last year.

LAFC welcomed France’s all-time leading goalscorer, Olivier Giroud, to its ranks and sits second in the MLS Western Conference this season, losing 2-1 to the Crew in the MLS Cup final last season.

It will be no easy task for the Colorado Rapids, fourth in the MLS Western Conference, after beating four consecutive Liga MX opponents on their way to the Leagues Cup semifinals.
