Snoozer release their last single before the upcoming album – New Noise Magazine
Snoozer will soon release their new album Middle Earth next month on September 13th, and they’ve just released the final preview single before that. “Fadda Radda” is a feel-good end-of-summer soundtrack song that will inspire you to relax in a hammock and watch the sunset. Its catchy chorus will have you humming it all day long.
“I remember doing the Fadda Radda riff and thinking, ‘Why am I doing this Doobie Bros shit?’ and scrapped it. A few weeks later, when I was on my bike, this weird chant popped into my head: ‘Fadda Radda Ra Yeah’ and I realized it fit the chords of the stupid Doobie riff. That was it,” Kelly explains.
If you’ve never heard of Snoozer, the duo consists of brothers Mike and Tom Kelly. The two formed the band in 2007, but have both been busy with various musical projects since then. Tom was Alex G’s touring drummer for several years and Mike has pursued several solo projects. Middle Earth is a revival of Snoozer and the first album released under their Born Loser Records label.
