It’s odd considering Persona 3 Reload was one of the first games I reviewed in 2024. It seems much longer ago than that since it came out. It was a fantastic game, though, as I noted in my review, so when it was confirmed that DLC called “The Answer” would be coming later in the year via “Episode Aigis,” I was curious to see what that would be like. The DLC is coming next month, and Atlus has released a new trailer highlighting the “Aftermath” story and how Aigis is at the center of it.

As we learn, everyone in the SEES group, except for the protagonist (spoiler reasons), is trapped in their dorm and must travel through the abyss of time to find out the truth about everything that happened to them and if they can get over it. One of the highlights of Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis is not only the expanded story, but that Aigis takes center stage this time around and gets a “sister” in Metis. Said “sister” will be part of your battle squad should you want her, and Aigis will become the “wild card” the former protagonist once was, giving her all-new abilities, including special combo finishers with her Personas!
