It appears that former undisputed Champion Roman Reigns has been pulled from a scheduled upcoming WWE appearance.

After returning at WWE SummerSlam on August 3 for his first appearance since WrestleMania 40 in April, Reigns also appeared on SmackDown.

Reigns appeared in confrontations with the Bloodline on both the August 9 and August 16 episodes of SmackDown.

It was also announced that he would appear on SmackDown in Seattle, Washington on September 13.

However, this no longer seems to be the case.

The official WWE events site has removed Roman Reigns from both the main graphic promoting the show and the “Featured Superstars” section.

Tiffany Stratton, owner of Money in the Bank, now takes the place on the main graphic. The featured superstars are Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Nia Jax, Bayley, Solo Sikoa and Stratton.

We will keep you updated if there is any further news regarding Reigns’ status and/or the reason for his removal from promotion for this particular show.

Reigns’ father Sika Anoa’i died in June and his uncle, Sika’s brother Afa, died on the day of SmackDown on August 16, where Reigns made his final appearance.

PW Nexus recently reported that WWE plans to have Roman Reigns participate in a WarGames match at Survivor Series in November.

The match would likely see Reigns team up with the original members of Bloodline (Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn) against Solo Sikoa’s new version of the group.
