Kodansha Publishing publishes the manga and describes the story:

A boy named Kaboku sees a girl named Wanda dancing and suddenly becomes eager to join in. With its exciting scenes of Japanese hip-hop dancing and quirky, charming characters, this is a new, inspiring manga for fans of coming-of-age stories like Blue Period And Your lie in April. Stand up and join the Wandance!

Kaboku has always just gone with the flow, marching to the beat of the expectations of those around him: parents, school, future plans. It feels predictable, safe, and… empty. But one night, when Kaboku is late at school, he happens upon a girl who is alone, moving wildly, turning an empty concrete square into a canvas. This is Hikari Wanda, a member of the hip-hop dance club. Kaboku is instantly smitten, but the road to coming out of his shell is long. The club is almost entirely made up of girls, and they are all, well, much better than him. What lies ahead is unknown, and that is terrifying, but it also means that for the first time in his life, Kaboku gets… a taste of freedom.

Coffee started the manga in Afternoon Magazine in 2019 and is published simultaneously in Kodansha‘S Magazine pouch App. Kodansha will release the 13th volume of the manga on Thursday. Kodansha Publishing released the 10th volume of the manga in English on August 13th.
