Time is running out for players to qualify for the Solheim Cup, but who needs to impress at the AIG Women’s Open to compete for Team Europe in this year’s competition?

The biennial event will take place from September 13 to 15 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. live on Sky Sportswhere Team Europe will attempt to defend the trophy it has held since a dramatic win at Gleneagles in 2019.

The qualifying phase for the 2024 Solheim Cup began in 2022 at the Aramco Team Series event in New York and ends this week on the legendary Old Course at St. Andrews.

The European team will consist of the top two players in the European Solheim Cup team points rankings, followed by the top six players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings who have not yet qualified.
