Man dies while climbing Del Campo Peak in Western Australia
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Washington. – Search and rescue teams have recovered the body of a man who died while climbing Del Campo Peak on Monday.
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, a 36-year-old man fell 40 to 50 feet onto rocky terrain while climbing with a friend around 9 a.m. Monday.
His climbing partner attempted life-saving measures, but the man could not be resuscitated.
Sheriff’s Office search and rescue crews flew his body to Taylor’s Landing, where it was taken into custody by the Snohomish County Coroner.
The coroner will release the man’s identity at a later date.
