The family drama of YSR Congress Legislative Council member Duvvada Srinivas has taken several twists and turns and resembles a typical Telugu television serial with its complicated plot involving a husband, wife and their friend. This saga continues to generate sensational entertainment in the media.

In the latest development, Duvvada Srinivas has approached the state High Court seeking directions to the police to investigate his complaint against his wife Duvvada Vani.

Vani and her daughter Haindavi are said to have attempted to harm Srinivas and illegally entered his house.

Srinivas alleged that although the police had registered a case against Vani and Haindavi, no further action had been taken, such as arrest or prosecution. He also demanded action against the police for their inaction.

The police counsel said that Vani and Haindavi had been issued summons for questioning and that the investigation was still ongoing. Police added that Vani had also filed a counter-complaint against Srinivas, which required more time to provide comprehensive details.

After considering the arguments of both sides, the Supreme Court asked the police to submit a counter affidavit containing details of the status of the investigation.

Meanwhile, Vani has alleged that both she and her husband are being threatened by Madhuri, with whom Srinivas is allegedly having an affair. Conversely, Madhuri has accused Vani of threatening both her and Srinivas.

Vani has expressed her desire to live with Srinivas in the newly built house in Tekkali. However, Srinivas has stated that he will not allow her to enter the house and plans to live there with Madhuri.

“How can I continue my life with Vani, who has caused so much turmoil and brought me into public disgrace? The court should decide what to do,” Srinivas said.
