ShackStream: The Stevetendo Show! Episode 490

In Dragon Quest XI, unknown lands await you in the Stevetendo Show!

Tonight on the Stevetendo Show we’re diving back into our Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age playthrough. I’ve been told that Dragon Quest XI is one of the best RPGs ever made, and I’m having a ton of fun with it so far. I’m going to try to get through random encounters as quickly as possible, because they’re crucial to leveling up our party and winning the game.

In the last episode, we returned to Gondolia to rescue Erik from the Royal Guard. We also found a ship for the sea voyage and got out of Gondolia. The first stop on the tour is the Zwaardrust region, so who knows what we’ll find there. The live broadcast is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET. Check out the Stevetendo Show for more on our Dragon Quest XI playthrough.

Shackers who want to join in on the fun can visit the Shacknews Twitch channel where they can tune in to the Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

If you can’t make it to the show tonight, you can watch Wednesday night at 5pm PT/8pm ET. The show will feature more of our Jet Force Gemini playthrough, as well as more of Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. We’re nearing the end of Jet Force Gemini, but the way it’s going, I can tell it’s going to make me angry at least one more time. As for A Link to the Past, we’re about halfway through the Dark World dungeons and getting closer to saving Hyrule from evil. If all goes to plan, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past will wrap up next week.

Check out how to play Elden Ring with a playstyle you’re not used to, or pick up some tips for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. There’s something for everyone across the various Shacknews channels!

Keep coming back with new games you’d like to see on the Stevetendo Show. If it’s on the Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Online service, there’s a great chance it will be played on the show. You never know when Nintendo will add something to the Nintendo Switch Online service, so stay tuned. I’m currently thinking about featuring a playthrough of Emio-The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club on the show soon. I think it would be interesting to play and I think it would be very similar to the playthrough of Another Code Recollection from a few months ago.
