Bobby Bones fires back at Julianne Hough and Mickey Guyton for ‘Dancing With The Stars’ diss

In a video shared on Instagram, Bones admitted: “I was the worst dancer. I’m proud of that. I tried as hard as anyone in the history of the show, but I can’t dance now (and) couldn’t dance then. But you know who brought down the big bad empire of dance – well, it’s not evil or an empire – it’s me and you.”

For the 2018 season, Bones partnered with Sharna Burgess. He said, “We did it together. I’m the greatest champion of all time. I didn’t say I was the greatest dancer, I said I was the greatest champion of all time because I’m the man of the people. I’m the man you chose.”

Bones said his power lay in his ability to build a relationship with voters and gain their support. In fact, he said, the show eventually changed its rules to only allow voting during the live show, and it was because of him.

Bobby Bones is proud

“I’m a terrible dancer, I was a terrible dancer,” he repeated. “But they changed the rules after I left because the fan vote was so good.”

Bones bears no grudge against Hough, but he criticized country singer Mickey Guyton, who agreed with Hough.

“Mickey Guyton, what the—” Bones said. “Of all people.” Guyton was the first to say Bones shouldn’t have won. Hough then agreed.

“Oh, I actually agree with you!” Hough replied. “And I think it’s because of the fandom, right? This show is all about the fandom. He wasn’t the best dancer, I agree.”

Bones was the first to admit that he wasn’t the best dancer, but he didn’t like it when people called him out on it.

“Honestly, I don’t think they want me to win. I think the judges want someone who has more dance experience to win,” he said previously. “But that’s why the show is not just about the judges, it’s about the people. I think the show has never had a winner like me and I don’t know what that means to them.”
