Following the set route will help you progress with the game’s storyline, trudge to the next objective, and so on. However, it gets boring relatively quickly. You want power. You want to unlock new skills and stances, right? Then you’ll want to level up quickly in Black Myth: Wukong.

When you explore a zone, you’re getting off the beaten path. Let’s say you spot a small dirt path that leads to a riverbed. Head in that direction! Not only will you discover valuable materials you need for crafting and healing, but you’ll also encounter additional enemies.

You see, not every enemy in the game will be thrown directly in your path. Some of them hide in the bushes, look for food near mushrooms, or sit by the fire by the side of the road. If you don’t go exploring, you’ll lose a lot of willpower.
