How to level up quickly in Black Myth: Wukong

While Black Myth: Wukong is certainly not the most difficult game, it does offer some challenges unique to its core experience as you learn the combat mechanics and movement. But as you explore the beautiful world, you’ll encounter more fearsome enemies. If you’re not careful, they can really take a beating. Here’s how to level up fast in Black Myth: Wukong!

Fast leveling in Black Myth: Wukong

While it’s true that Black Myth: Wukong isn’t a massive open world, each zone offers multiple paths to explore. Following the set route will help you progress with the game’s storyline, trudge to the next objective, and so on. However, it gets boring relatively quickly. You want power. You want to unlock new skills and stances, right? Then you’ll want to level up quickly in Black Myth: Wukong.

When you explore a zone, you’re getting off the beaten path. Let’s say you spot a small dirt path that leads to a riverbed. Head in that direction! Not only will you discover valuable materials you need for crafting and healing, but you’ll also encounter additional enemies.

You see, not every enemy in the game will be thrown directly in your path. Some of them hide in the bushes, look for food near mushrooms, or sit by the fire by the side of the road. If you don’t go exploring, you’ll lose a lot of willpower.

Also, keep an eye out for barrels to smash. This is a video game after all. If you smash the clay pots lying around, there’s a pretty high chance you’ll find Will inside, who you need to level up!

Fight optional bosses

Did you know that there are a whopping 80 bosses to fight in Black Myth: Wukong? Most of them are optional side bosses that you’ll encounter while exploring one of the game’s many zones. You don’t have to fight them, but you should. Here’s why!

When you fight a secret or side boss, it’s not just a challenge for yourself. It’s a chance to gain extra willpower, learn new fighting stances, and improve your combat mechanics for the more challenging story bosses. These provide the actual combat and are a real blast.

I recommend you fight every boss you encounter in the world!

Speaking of 80 bosses and storylines, have you checked out Black Myth: Wukong’s achievements? This is definitely one you’ll want to 100% get!
