The girl who steals time was delayed again

Fans who have been patiently waiting for the big, proper sequel to the excellent Fantasy Life from 2012/2014 for Nintendo Switch will have to wait a little longer, because developer LEVEL-5 has announced that it has postponed the game again.

Originally set to release in 2023, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time was set to be released on October 10th of this year. However, it has now been postponed again and a new release date is not in sight.

“LEVEL-5 Inc. has decided to change the release date of FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time, which was scheduled for October 10, 2024,” the company said in a message on the game’s official website.

“We plan to announce further details on the timing of the new release, etc. during the LEVEL5 VISION 2024 TO THE WORLD’S CHILDREN online event.

“We apologize to everyone who has been eagerly awaiting the release for any inconvenience caused and sincerely thank you for your understanding. Thank you for your patience.”

Nintendo also added in a tweet: “We regret to announce that the planned release of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time for Nintendo Switch on October 10, 2024 has been delayed. More information on the new release date will be announced in the future. Thank you for your patience.”

When FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time finally launches, players will be able to build their very own life on a ruined island, build a thriving city, go on dangerous adventures with their chosen profession, and even travel back in time.
