ShackStream: The Stevetendo Show! Episode 489

More Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the Stevetendo Show!

Tonight on the Stevetendo Show we return to our playthrough of Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. A Link to the Past is one of my all-time favorite games and I feel like I try to play it at least once a year. In the last episode of Link to the Past, we rescued Princess Zelda from her prison cell in the Royal Vault and brought her to the Sanctuary to keep her safe.

It turns out that the descendants of the Seven Sages were kidnapped and used as keys to open the seal of the Sacred Realm. However, Agahnim only needs one more key to open the seal, and that is Princess Zelda. Tonight, we’ll be heading out to retrieve the Master Sword and find out if Princess Zelda is still safe from evil. The live broadcast is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. You can catch more of our playthrough of Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the Stevetendo Show.

Shackers who want to join in on the fun can visit the Shacknews Twitch channel where they can tune in to the Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

If you can’t make it to the show tonight, you can watch Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5pm PT/8pm ET. The show will feature more of our Dragon Quest XI playthrough, as well as more Jet Force Gemini. We head to lands unknown aboard Sylvando’s ship in Dragon Quest XI. As for Jet Force Gemini, I nearly lost my mind in the last episode over two Praying Mantis boss monsters. Somehow, there will be another episode after all this!

In case you missed it, Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct today, and before you get too excited, they revealed details about the Nintendo Museum. They mentioned information about what the museum actually has in store for visitors, as well as the grand opening date. Check out the Stevetendo Show for my thoughts on the Nintendo Museum. Comment anywhere on Shacknews that you’d like the Stevetendo Show to cover the Nintendo Museum’s grand opening.

Keep thinking of new games you’d like to see featured on the Stevetendo Show. If it’s on the Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Online service, there’s a great chance it will be played on the program. You never know when Nintendo will add something to the Nintendo Switch Online service, so stay tuned.
