Far Cry fans criticize leaked new release from Ubisoft

Ubisoft released its free-to-play first-person shooter earlier this year, but recently came under fire for its questionable new update.

Published in May, XDefiant is Ubisoft’s foray into the FPS genre and has received fairly mixed reviews since its release.

Fast-paced online matches pit players against each other in traditional shooting competitions, but the title is reportedly hampered by slow weapon development and a lack of originality.

As part of the live service mode XDefiant is often seen as a representative of other Ubisoft titles, including Guard dogs, Splinter cell, Far away 6 And The Division.

Now that season 2 is just around the corner, XDefiantThe next Faction crossover is said to be Far Cry: New Dawn – The great adventure.

Published in 2019, New Dawn was a spin-off and sequel to Far Cry 5 and received mostly positive reviews.

But his crossover with XDefiant is not well received by fans due to some worrying abilities.

According to leaks Far Cry: New Dawn – The GameThe collaboration will feature a pretty overpowered kit that includes grenade launchers and gun turrets.

In replies to a post leaking the new collaboration, fans of the shooter were quick to express their frustration over yet another unbalanced update.

“We need to stop putting grenade launchers and shields in games,” said one response.

Another said: “Why do you insist on ruining the aspects of this game that made it better than COD? Shields, noob tubes… keep doing this and in the end it’s just a low budget COD.”

With XDefiant With Ubisoft already being criticized for its lack of originality, the addition of this new kit won’t help matters.

The biggest source of frustration, however, seems to be the distinct absence of a key Ubisoft franchise: Assassin’s Creed.

“Okay, I’ve accepted that they’re intentionally trying to upset me,” read another comment.

“Where is the Assassin’s Creed character?”

It remains to be seen whether this XDefiant The leaks are true, but if so, Ubisoft should be prepared for a dissatisfied fan base.
