FedEx Cup Top 50: Which players will play in the BMW Championship 2024?
One tournament over, two more are pending in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Hideki Matsuyama was the winner at the TPC Southwind in the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship, which helped determine which 50 players will compete in the 2024 BMW Championship next week at Castle Pines Golf Club in Denver.
The field consists of the top 50 in the FedExCup Playoffs and the points listled by world number one Scottie Scheffler, followed by Xander Schauffele, who won both the US Open and the British Open this year. Matsuyama jumped five places with his victory in Memphis and is now in third place. Rory McIlroy dropped two places and is now in fifth place after finishing in a shared 68th place (out of 70).

Before the BMW Championship, however, the question is more about who is out than who is in. All the other big names you would expect to see there will be therewith some notable exceptions (although these are not particularly surprising).

Which players will not be taking part in the BMW Championship 2024?
