NTR, Prashanth Neel’s masterpiece costs Rs 350 crore?
Superstar Jr. NTR and director Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited action film is reportedly being made on a massive budget. “The masterpiece will cost Rs 350 crore, the highest budget in the actor-director’s career,” says a source, adding, “The announcement of the NTR-Prashanth Neel film has already generated a lot of interest in the action-adventure and it is sure to rock at the box office,” he adds.
Prashanth Neel’s previous big film Salaar starring Prabhas had a budget of Rs 270 crore, but this time Prashanth has more money to realise his vision and capture breathtaking action episodes. “The makers have allocated the highest budget for Prashanth as they trust his anger-driven stories that show the hero in a new guise and in refreshing backdrops,” he adds.
After action films ‘Devara’ and ‘War 2’, the Nandamuri family scion will be giving Prashanth Neel a lot of shooting time as he likes his style of filmmaking and knows how brooding and fearless his heroes are. “NTR is already hailed as the undisputed action hero, so all Prashanth needs is the right characterisation and story to justify his anger and then it will be a rollercoaster ride for the actor and the director,” he concludes.
