Release date and where to watch it

Plot

Dancing with the Stars is a unique show where famous people team up with professional ballroom dancers to compete in front of a live audience and the nation. Each season, a limited number of celebrity/professional dance couples compete against each other and are judged by experts and viewers at home. One couple is eliminated each week.

host

Alfonso Ribiero And Julianne Hough return as hosts for season 33 of Dancing with the Stars.

Ribiero, who is known for his role in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, said in an interview about their chemistry: “I think our chemistry is going to be amazing. We’ve known each other for so long. She was a judge on my season. We’ve known each other for years and our energy just feels so good. We sat down and had lunch together and two and a half hours later we were like, ‘I guess we should go home and do something.’ And I think that kind of chemistry and friendship will be felt by the audience on the show.”

Judge

  • Carrie Ann Inaba
  • Bruno Tonioli
  • Derek Hough

Inaba and Tonioli have been on the show since its first season, while Hough joined the show as a professional dancer and competed in 17 of the first 23 seasons.

Inaba said of her role as the only female judge on the show: “As the only female judge in most seasons, I get a lot more hate than the men and people doubt what I say. Oh, I’m getting emotional now. I’m the judge who cries. Yes, that’s true, but it’s also because I feel like I have to fight harder to have my opinion valued.”
