Are You Sure?!, the holiday variety show starring Jungkook and Jimin, recently premiered on Disney+ Hotstar and has already garnered a lot of attention from viewers who are hooked on the first two episodes. From Jungkook showing off his Harley Davidson and spotting wild mushrooms on their walk to Jimin being an expert kayaker and the two constantly bickering, the first few episodes have left ARMY wanting more. So, let’s revisit some of our favorite Jimin and Jungkook moments from episodes 1 and 2 of Are You Sure?! as we wait for more adventures from the BTS duo.

The Korean reality series focuses exclusively on Jimin and Jungkook’s travel adventures through New York, Sapporo in Japan and Jeju Island in South Korea before their military service. According to HYBE’s web platform Weverse, the two BTS members “embarked on this journey with no plans and simply enjoyed the joy of traveling together.”

Jimin tries kayaking for the first time and is a hit

In episode one of Are you sure?! Viewers see Jungkook and Jimin on a kayaking expedition in the US. When the duo arrive at their destination, coach Gino gives them lessons on how to handle a kayak. While Jungkook, who is known for being good at every sport, fails at first, Jimin excels at kayaking. He has the paddling sport under control from the start and later shows off his balanced strokes.

After kayaking, Jimin and Jungkook decide to spend the evening with barbecue, ramen, and beer. During the meal, Jungkook FaceTimes his BTS bandmate Taehyung aka V to update him on the ongoing trip. However, when Jungkook tells V that they also enjoyed a ride on his Harley Davidson, V asks how he got to ride his Harley during the trip. Jungkook responds with a cheeky “Okay” and hangs up mid-conversation. Jungkook then receives a text full of swear words from V and bursts out laughing. He later makes it up to V by texting “I love you” and “You’re the best” back several times.

The whole exchange between one of the most famous K-pop duos excited fans and their hashtag Taekook (Taehyung and Jungkook) immediately became a trend on X.

In episode two, the BTS duo is spotted by an ARMY during their visit to Walmart. Jungkook and Jimin get a frozen pizza, but are afraid to speak to the staff in English and ask them to heat up the pizza. A BTS ARMY from the staff notices the duo and helps them with the pizza. When they finally bite into the slices, Jimin adorably comments that the pizza tastes extra delicious because an ARMY made it.

After Jimin gets an upset stomach at the end of the first episode, he continues to feel sick and tired in the second episode. Fans later see the BTS singer sleeping off his hangover on a yacht. Yes, you heard right! Jimin and Jungkook decide to enjoy the California sunset from a yacht while enjoying some good food. However, instead of enjoying the view, Jimin prefers to get his beauty sleep that he missed last night due to the upset stomach.

Deep conversations about music

Episode two of Are you sure?! also gave better insights into the artistic side of BTS band members Jungkook and Jimin. When Jimin and Jungkook return to their overnight accommodation after the yacht trip, they have an intense conversation about music in their car. Jimin explains that it might be more efficient to get songs written by someone else than to write his own songs, as the former takes a lot of time. He adds that while working on his debut album, FACE For a whole year without a break, he had no time for additional activities and ended up doing the same thing as his other bandmates, using songs written by others.

Jungkook, on the other hand, says that while it is important for him to write and tell his own story, he currently wants to try out pre-made songs and see how far he can go in terms of versatility. He also adds that there is not much in his life that he can write about because he is someone who does not go through life with many thoughts.
