The airline also expressed its shock at the horrific incident. In its statement on Saturday, it said: “Air India attaches utmost importance to the safety and well-being of our crew and employees. We are deeply saddened by an unlawful break-in at a hotel belonging to a major international chain, which affected one of our crew members.”
