Popeyes has just added three new dishes to the menu and they are really setting the mood
Popeyes is heating up the menu with two new buffalo-themed chicken dishes and a brand new wrap.
Starting today (March 19), Popeyes fans can try the brand new limited edition Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich, which puts a spicy twist on the classic burger. The sandwich features chicken that’s been marinated for 12 hours in Popeyes’ signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices and coated in that super crispy breading.
It’s topped with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing, and topped with lettuce and pickles. It’s all served in a brioche bun.
More of a wings fan? Wings are also getting a makeover, with a limited edition Buffalo Saucin’ Wings covered in buffalo sauce. They’re available in portions of 5, 8 or 12 wings, or can be ordered as part of a meal along with fries and a drink.
If you’re in the mood for a milder but equally tasty meal, you’ll be happy to hear that Popeyes is also launching a Louisiana BBQ Wrap, which consists of two chicken tenders, BBQ sauce, smoked cheese, and lettuce, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Delicious.
Speaking ahead of the launch of the new menu items, Dave Hoskins, Head of Food at Popeyes UK, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of Popeyes® Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich and Buffalo Saucin’ Wings. Following their success with fans in the US, this marks the first time that gravy-laden wings have appeared on menus at Popeyes restaurants and drive-thru locations in the UK – plus there is a spicy new version of our famous chicken sandwich, featuring our legendary Shatter Crunch Chicken.
“Both the sandwich and wings are made with our proprietary sauces, which our team created in response to fan requests for more Popeyes flavor combinations. They’re tangy with a hint of heat, and combined with cooling ranch dressing, we’re confident both new additions will pop the nation’s taste buds – and we can’t wait for people to try them.”
Popeyes is an iconic American takeaway chain that launched in the UK in November 2021 and has since expanded to include branches in London, Reading, Brighton, Birmingham, Exeter, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester and many more.
The new Buffalo sandwich and wings are only available for a limited time, so be quick if you want to try them.
The new menu items are now available in store and for delivery.
