London Zoo protects Banksy’s mural by removing it from public view

The iconic gate of London Zoo has recently undergone significant changes. The famous mural depicting escaped animals by the elusive street artist Banksy has been removed. This mural was prominently displayed at the entrance to the zoo and immediately attracted numerous fans and onlookers when it was unveiled. However, it has now been removed in order to preserve it and keep the zoo running smoothly.

London Zoo officially announced the removal on Friday, saying it was necessary to protect the artwork. After it had previously been covered with protective film and guarded by security guards, the decision to remove it was prompted by large crowds wanting to see Banksy’s work.
