Tragic stabbing during dance class shakes Southport
Three young girls lost their lives when they were brutally attacked during a Taylor Swift-themed dance and yoga event in Southport. The victims have been identified as six-year-old Bebe King, seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe and nine-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar.
In addition to the fatalities, eight other children were injured, five of them seriously, and two adults also suffered serious injuries. Merseyside Police arrested a 17-year-old suspect on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
The attack occurred at around 11:50am CET on Monday morning at the Hart Space Studio on Hart Street, where children were taking part in various activities. Witnesses described the incident as shocking and highlighted the severity of the victims’ injuries.
When police officers arrived at the scene, they found several people, mostly children, who had suffered serious injuries. Two adults bravely tried to protect the children, but sustained serious injuries themselves.
