India News | Boy dies when air conditioner falls on him from 2nd floor in Delhi’s Karol Bagh

New Delhi (India), August 18 (ANI): An 18-year-old boy died when the outdoor unit of an air conditioner fell on him while he was standing with his friend on the road in Delhi’s Karol Bagh area on Saturday, police said.

According to police, around 7 pm yesterday, it was found within the perimeter of Desh Bandhu Gupta police station that the outdoor unit of an air conditioner had fallen from the second floor on two boys who were standing and chatting on the road. After the incident, the injured boys were rushed to a nearby hospital where one Jitesh (18), a resident of Doriwalan Delhi, was declared dead. While the second person, Pranshu (17), a resident of Patel Nagar, Delhi, was admitted to the hospital.

Besides, a case has been registered under relevant sections and the forensic team has examined the crime scene.
