Report: Sixers in talks to sign French striker Guerschon Yabusele

The Philadelphia 76ers have had a busy offseason with a lot of signings in free agency. President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey has made fantastic moves to completely overhaul the roster and compete in the Eastern Conference.

With two spots open on the roster, Morey and the Sixers were waiting for the right move. And it seems they found it in Guerschon Yabusele, the former first-round pick of the Boston Celtics.

Yabusele delivered a stellar performance for France at the 2024 Olympics, helping the team reach the gold medal game, and the Sixers are reportedly in serious talks to add him to the roster.

In two seasons with the Celtics, Yabusele averaged 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. He was able to prove his skills in France, and with the Sixers needing a little more depth at the power forward position behind Caleb Martin, it makes sense to sign the 6’9″ athletic big man.
