XOXO, Jessica Szohr is officially a married woman.

Szohr, 39, married Brad Richardsonalso 39, at the beginning of the month, a source confirmed to We weekly. Actress Nina Dobrev (the Vampire Diaries) was her maid of honour. Us has reached out to Szohr’s representative for comment.

The actress who played Vanessa in the hit CW series gossip Girlshared photos via Instagram Story that appear to be from her wedding celebration. “Tie the knot,” she captioned a black-and-white snapshot with several friends, including former GG Co-Star Chace Crawford.

Szohr and Richardson made their relationship public in March 2019, a month after We weekly broke the news that they had met. Before retiring in 2022, Canadian-born Richardson played hockey for the Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings (with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2012), Vancouver Canucks, Arizona Coyotes and Nashville Predators.

In September 2020, Szohr announced that she was expecting her first child with the retired athlete. The couple welcomed their daughter Bowie Wila in January 2022. Bowie is the couple’s first child together, Richardson also has a daughter with his ex-wife Lauren Hunt.

“Added a special sweetness to our family on 1/11/21 and gave our journey a new direction,” Szohr wrote under a black-and-white photo of her baby daughter’s hand in a post announcing the arrival of her newborn.

On the birth of her daughter, the new mother added: “This journey with Brad and Lexi has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Then to create a human being who is absolutely perfect in our eyes and brings a feeling to my heart that I didn’t know existed is indescribable. I have all the feelings and she is truly special.”

Szohr announced her engagement a year later in May 2022 via Instagram. The mother of one posted a photo of herself wearing her dazzling new ring next to her fiancé and captioned the black-and-white image, “I said yes!”

Szohr had previously been with her former gossip Girl Co-Star Ed Westwick from 2008 to 2010 and Aaron Rodgers. She and the 36-year-old NFL star dated briefly in 2011 before getting back together three years later. After their split Shameless Alum was in a relationship with New York Jets player Scotty McKnight from 2015 to 2018.

As for Richardson, the athlete and Hunt married in 2014 and separated after four years of marriage.
