Anheuser-Busch and distributors provide 50,000 cans of drinking water after Debby

Tri-Eagle Sales and Anheuser-Busch are delivering canisters of drinking water to Big Bend residents affected by Hurricane Debby.

More than 50,000 containers of water were provided to victims of Hurricane Debby as the storm hit and passed through Florida’s Big Bend region in early August.

Anheuser Busch and local wholesalers Tri-Eagle Sales provided emergency canisters of drinking water to communities in the Big Bend area. The aid was provided at the behest of the American Red Cross as residents began to recover from the storm that swept across Florida’s west coast, then raced inland to Savannah, Georgia, and finally entered the Atlantic Ocean before moving up the east coast of the United States.

The emergency water canisters, produced by Anheuser-Busch, were donated with the help of Tri-Eagle and distributed to residents and first responders who helped people survive and recover from the hurricane. The water was delivered to residents in areas of Florida where widespread flooding and property damage occurred.

“We are honored to serve as an Anheuser-Busch wholesaler and are ready to support our community by partnering with the American Red Cross to provide emergency drinking water in times of crisis. Together, we can make a difference and ensure those in need have access to vital resources when it matters most,” said Tripp Transou IVVice President of Business Development at Tri-Eagle Sales.

Anheuser-Busch has been producing emergency drinking water since 1988 and has a long history of working with the American Red Cross in emergency relief and natural disaster response.

“The American Red Cross is deeply grateful to Anheuser-Busch and Tri-Eagle Sales for their generous donation and delivery of clean drinking water following the damage left behind by Hurricane Debby,” said Lauren UlrichExecutive Director of Operations and Logistics at the American Red Cross. “We appreciate their continued support of our mission and are happy to count them among our partners.”

Since Anheuser-Busch began producing emergency drinking water, the company has distributed a total of 90 million cans of this relief water.
