Spice and Wolf: Trader meets the wise wolf has released the preview images for episode 20. It is titled “Church Girl and Miller Boy” and is scheduled to air on August 19. Studio Passione is animating the series, which can be streamed on Crunchyroll.

Spice And Wolf: Trader meets the wise wolf also revealed a synopsis for episode 20:
There is a monk who collects stories about pagan gods. Searching for the lore of Holo’s hometown of Yoitsu, Lawrence and Holo visit the church in the small village of Tereo, not far from Emberg, to find out where the monk lives. When they arrive in Tereo, they meet Evan, a boy who works as a miller, and Elsa, a girl who serves as a substitute pastor at the church. They ask Elsa about priests, but Lawrence and his friends are turned away at the door.

The Spice and Wolf The anime series is based on the Japanese light novel series of the same name, written by Isuna Hasekura and illustrated by Jyuu Ayakura. ASCII Media Works published it from 2006 to 2019 with a total of 22 volumes. A manga adaptation by Keito Koume ran from September 2007 to December 2017. A serial novel titled Wolf and Parchment written by Hasekura and illustrated by Hidori, is currently in progress.

The ongoing anime adaptation is directed by Hijiri Sanpei (Citrus fruits) and produced by Studio Passione (Interspecies Reviewers), with Takeo Takahashi (Ishura) as General Director. In the meantime, Koji Haneda (Bakuman) designs characters, Tomoko Koyama (Beast Tamer) is responsible for the color design, Ayako Tan (The angel next door spoils me totally) is responsible for the editorial department, and Kevin Penkin (Made in the Abyss) composed the music with Tomohiro Yoshida (Brave Witches) as sound director. The main actors of the series are:

Crunchyroll is currently streaming the Spice and Wolf: Trader meets the wise wolf Remake and describes the plot as follows:
Lawrence is a traveling merchant who sells various goods from a horse-drawn cart. One day he comes to a village and meets a beautiful girl with the ears and tail of an animal! Her name is Holo, the wise wolf, and she brings rich harvests. She wants to return to her homeland and Lawrence offers to take her with him. Now the once lonely merchant and the once lonely wise wolf begin their journey north.
