Travis Kelce joins Patrick and Brittany Mahomes to cheer on Kansas City Current in Women’s Cup
Travis Kelce watched the Kansas City Currents at the Women’s Cup on Saturday with his friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes.
The soccer team, co-owned by the Mahomeses, shared photos of the trio celebrating as the Current defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 in Kansas City, Missouri.
“Teal Town 🤝 Red Kingdom. A few champions stopped by to say hi @chiefs 🩵❤️ #KCBABY | #ChiefsKingdom,” the team captioned their Instagram post.
In one snapshot, 34-year-old Kelce can be seen making the peace sign with his fingers while Patrick and Brittany, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child, smile at the camera.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end dressed casually for the outing, wearing a red Kansas City Current baseball cap and a black Nike shirt.
Brittany and Patrick, both 28, wore white shirts and baseball caps to support their team.
Fans were happy that the NFL stars were able to show their support for women’s sports.
“😍 I love that the guys support women’s sports,” wrote one user.
“Real men support women’s sports!! 👊🏼💥💯,” added another.
“I think it’s great to see how the KC athletes ⚽️🏈 support each other 🔥🔥🔥,” commented a third person.
Noticeably missing from the trio’s outing was Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift, who is currently in London as part of her Eras tour.
Last month, Kelce and the Mahomeses were able to support the “Cruel Summer” singer, also 34, during her tour stop in Amsterdam.
During the show, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife – who wore $7,800 Prada pajamas – were seen twirling and hugging in the audience as the pop star performed her hit “Lover.”
At one point, Brittany went to check on a shaken Kelce as he wiped tears from his eyes and Swift sang a special mashup of songs seemingly dedicated to him.
After the show, the couples spent an evening together on the town.
In one of the images shared by her boyfriend Summitt Hogue, Swift grabs Kelce’s arm as she smiles at the camera, wearing a plaid corset under a blue dress and holding a heart-shaped Vivienne Westwood bag ($660).
Brittany also shared a photo of the “Bad Blood” singer kissing her on the head while hugging her.
